Kelsey Theatre – In The Pink! – 2012-2013
This year Kelsey Theatre celebrates its
Ruby Pink 40th Anniversary with a salute to the
ladies. We’re tickled pink to bring you a season full of
strong, masterful, determined, feisty women (and a few
grouchy old men). From the loving mother spider in
Charlotte’s Web to Gypsy’s Mama Rose, from tiny Thumbelina
to the adventurous Maria in The Sound of Music, and from a
very smart talking dog in Martha Speaks to the forceful
Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker each of these women
will amaze and inspire. And smack dab in the middle of our
season – Reock & Roll’s Music from Big Pink. So pink
it is! As Elle Woods from Legally Blonde would say – “You
can’t have too much pink!”. And of course, according to
Mama Rose from Gypsy “Everything’s Coming Up Roses!” pink
ones of course.
